Bargain shoppers are getting excited. Wichita will soon have two Ross Dress for Less locations – one east, one west.
Apparently the retail chain is similar to other stores in our area that sell name-brand goods at 20% to 60% off. I’m thinking it might be like TJ Maxx, Gordman’s, and Burlington Coat Factory, but we’ll know more Saturday. Several Wichita on the Cheap Facebook fans have shopped at Ross Dress for Less in other cities and they say they’re excited for it to come to Wichita.
The east side location of Ross Dress for Less will be in Eastgate Plaza at 8021 East Kellogg in Wichita (corner of Rock and Kellogg). That’s the old Barnes and Noble building, I believe.
The west side Ross Dress for Less will be at 6920 West Kellogg, in the old Circuit City building. That’s right next to Kohl’s department store, and about a block away from TJ Maxx.
Both stores open Saturday morning, July 14, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. and will be open until 10 p.m. that night. Both locations will have sweepstakes for a $500 shopping spree and five $100 shopping sprees, and will make donations to the Boys and Girls Club of South Central Kansas and to McConnell AFB Youth Programs.
The company has set up Facebook events for each of the openings.
