Sharing is caring!

There’s no admission for the event itself, which will include “weird science” demonstrations throughout the afternoon, and space- or alien-themed costume contests for kids and for adults (did anyone buy that Spock shirt I mentioned a couple weeks ago?). To enter the contest, register by 2 p.m. The judging will begin at 2:30.
Kids can also participate in 7 different activities with the purchase of a ticket strip for only $1 (one dollar for seven tickets!). They can choose to do seven different things, or one activity seven times, or any combination they like:
- Make a button
- Make a solar system bracelet
- Make a Christmas ornament
- Coloring activity
- Liquid Oxygen ice cream
- Launch an air rocket
- Temporary tattoos
You can also have their pictures taken in a space suit for only $2, or experience a 4-G simulator for only $4.
Admission into Rocketoberfest doesn’t include admission to the museum, but this might be a great day to use your Groupons if you bought them.
