I met the owner of Wichita’s newest coffee roasters during Riverfest this year, and since my husband, “Mr. On-the-Cheap,” is a coffee-roasting aficionado, I made a point to stop and chat about green coffee beans and all manner of coffee-brewing methods and gadgets. This weekend, June 28-29, Reverie Coffee Roasters will celebrate the grand opening of its new store in downtown Wichita with tours of the facility, live music, roasting demonstrations and giveaways, and food trucks nearby.
On Friday evening, Reverie will participate in the Wichita Final Friday Art Crawl with art by Wayne Clark and live music from Elliot Road. The BS Sandwich Press Food Truck will be onsite. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the band will play from 7-8 p.m.
On Saturday, Reverie will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Live music will be provided by Kayla Fitzgerald Jacobs from noon until 1 p.m. The Flying Stove and BS Sandwich Press will be parked outside from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
