Registration is open for esports leagues with Wichita Park and Recreation, which begin June 23. Registration ends on June 21.
The recreation department has leagues for several different video games. The fee for each six-week league is only $10, and it’s a great way to enjoy a little competition from the comfort of your own home. 🙂
Participation is remote, via your own gaming console: XBox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, or PC. To follow league standings and matches, you’ll download the Mission Control GG app on a mobile device.
The following video game leagues are available:
- Super Smash Bros
- Rocket League
- NBA 2020
- Call of Duty
- Madden 20
- FIFA 20
- MLB the Show
- Fortnite
All leagues kick off the week of June 23, runs for five weeks, and the sixth week is the playoffs.
