This is such a fun event – be sure not to miss it!
Wichita has a talented group of local performers who put on an amazing show combining dance and movement with fire. The group, called Phlox, will be performing throughout the season – weather permitting – in Old Town Square during the Final Friday Art Crawl.
The group dances with flaming poi, staves, hoola hoops, swords, and more. It’s quite a production, and one you really won’t want to miss.
Watch this fantastic video below to see the kinds of performances you can expect:
Final Friday with Phlox is a kid-friendly and family friendly event – just make sure the little ones don’t run out into the area where they’re dancing with open flames.
Show up at dusk to be amazed by the dazzling display of fire, LED, and dance!
Admission is free but it’s a great idea to tip (and cheer for!) the performers.
Since this is an outdoor event, it’s dependent on good weather. Find out if there are any schedule changes at the Final Friday with Phlox Facebook page.
