The Wichita Animal Action League, Petco Foundation, and BOBs from SKECHERS will hosting the first-ever Pet Adoption Expo this weekend in Wichita.
The event brings many different pet-rescue organizations together for a big event featuring 200+ animals available for adoption.
It will turn Towne West Mall into an indoor mega-adoption event.
Participating animal rescues include:

- Caring Hands Humane Society
- Heartstrings Animal Advocates
- Joy Animal Rescue
- Kansas Humane Society
- Kansas K-9 Resq
- Wichita Pug Rescue
- Wellington Humane Society
- K9 Karma Animal Advocates
Adoption fees vary according to the rescue they’re coming from, but there will be discounted adoptions available.
They’ll also have vet Q&A, dog training demos, pet vendors, giveaways, and more.
Radio personality JJ Hayes and TV personalities from KAKE will also be at the event.
The Pet Adoption Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 27 at Towne West Square Mall.
