The virus strikes again – this event has been canceled. 🙁
I saw the announcement on Twitter on July 9:
For the health and safety of our community, we are cancelling Cowtown's 70th Birthday on July 11 and National Day of the Cowboy on July 25. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Celebrate Cowtown’s birthday 1950s style! Old Cowtown Museum will host another one of its fun evenings for people 18+ with the Old Cowtown 70th Birthday Party.
On July 11, Old Cowtown Museum will celebrate its 70th birthday with an adults-only event that includes drinks, dancing, and fun at the museum. The theme is a 1950s sock-hop, since the museum started in the 1950s!
The party starts at 7 p.m. and runs until midnight.
See an exhibit full of Old Cowtown Museum memorabilia, hear a lecture from Assistant Curator Keith Wondra, have some drinks, visit the malt shop and the sock hop and more!
This is an adults-only event: visitors need to be 18 to enter, 21 to drink.
The best part? If you took advantage of the Cowtown Museum membership deal we told you about last month, your admission is FREE!
Everyone else just pays $15 per person for a ticket.
To RSVP and share the Cowtown birthday party with friends who can join you, visit the Facebook event page here.
