The Wichita Art Museum’s annual Night at the Museum event brings a great mash-up of fun antics, live, music, art, and an electric vibe to a summer night.
In celebration of the epic July 1969 moon landing and the exhibition Light & Shadow: Alyson Shotz and Kumi Yamashita, this event starts indoors for art viewing and live bluegrass music from The DeWayn Brothers.
Then, head outdoors when the sun goes down for food trucks, outdoor cash bar, moon gazing with telescopes and insight provided by Kansas Astronomical Observers, and moon songs performed by Opera Kansas.
Night at the Museum will be held Thursday evening, August 15, 2019 from 7-10 p.m.
Admission to this event is free for WAM members and only $10 for the general public.
Date: August 15, 2019
Time: 7-10 p.m.
Cost: $10 (free for members)
Location: Wichita Art Museum, 1400 West Museum Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67203
