Sharing is caring!
From now until the end of 2010, when you buy or renew a Museum of World Treasures membership you’ll get a free $10 Museum Gift Certificate. Memberships, which offer unlimited museum visits, invitations to special events, and gift store and educational program discounts, could be a great gift for a family, grandparent, or any history buff.
Smart, frugal friends of mine were the first ones to explain to me how much memberships to Wichita attractions could save me.
A Household membership costs $79, includes 2 adults and all of the children in a family and by the third visit will have saved you money on admission costs (a family day pass $28.50). If you were likely to sign the kids up for an educational program at the Museum, then a membership will have saved you some money there.
Another way to save is to purchase a Single +1 membership for $49. This can work well for a stay-at-home parent with one or two younger kids. Children under 3 are admitted free to the Museum of World Treasures, an older child would be covered by the membership as a guest, and the parent would get in free as a member.
Just don’t forget about museum memberships when you’re planning your holiday spending. If you have an active family, they can be a real money saver!
