Thursday afternoon you’ll get a chance to meet your favorite Thunder Nationals driver and get a close-up look at the Monster trucks.
Three different Advance Auto Parts locations will be hosting a meet-and-greet between 2 and 6 p.m.:
- Visit the Raminator, Mark Hall, at 724 N West Street
- Triple XXX, RB Moler, at 303 E Pawnee
- Bounty Hunter, Jay McPherson, at 4520 E 13th Street
Monster Jam Thunder Nationals is coming to INTRUST Bank Arena this weekend. Advance tickets start at $5 for children and $20 for adults. (Tip: I found a flier at Papa John’s that says you can save $5 on adult tickets if you use the code DISC. Try it!)

Monster trucks can fly up to 130 feet (a distance greater than 14 cars side by side) and up to 35 feet in the air. In Thunder Nationals, drivers compete in freestyle and racing events on a purpose-built concrete track. Fans can expect to witness outrageous jumps, crushed cars, plenty of concrete-streaking action, and some of the most incredible donuts ever. Check this out:
