Midwest Winefest Old Town Walk About is Wichita’s premier wine and food festival, benefiting the Guadalupe Health Foundation. While it’s on the pricier side, it’s worth mentioning because the ticket offers great value. For $75, you get unlimited wine and food samples from some of Wichita’s best spots—all while supporting a great cause. We’ve attended in the past and loved the chance to discover new favorites in one fun-filled evening downtown!

With its reputation as one of Wichita’s most anticipated food and wine events, spots fill up fast, so don’t wait too long to secure yours! Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a fun Date Night. 

Old Town Walkabout 2026

Date: Thursday, April 23, 2026

Time: 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm

The Walkabout includes stops at local restaurants and venues in Wichita’s Old Town district. Enjoy a variety of food, wines, and music by local talents.

Executive Director. “The proceeds of Midwest Winefest benefit the Guadalupe Health Foundation, whose mission is to support the poor and uninsured patients of Guadalupe Clinic.”

Midwest Winefest Old Town Tickets: 

  • $75 Tickets through April 16th
  • Tickets increase to $85 on April 17th
  • Tickets increase to $100 day of the event
  • Must be 21+, only 1000 tickets available

Volunteers Needed 

This event wouldn’t be possible without volunteers. Hundreds of individuals donate their time to make this event a success. Volunteering is an excellent option if you’re looking for a way to experience it without purchasing a ticket!
