Check out these online boredom busters from Michael’s craft stores for kids and parents stuck at home.
For now, the in-person craft events have been canceled. But a notice on the store’s website says it will be hosting Facebook LIVE broadcasts for family-fun activities at noon CDT every Wednesday.
The company says it will resume large events as soon as it is safe to do so. See their announcement here.
Michael’s craft store will help keep your kids busy while you shop with low-cost Kids Club craft workshops.
Sign up online or just drop by a participating Wichita Michael’s store on select Saturdays between 10 a.m. and noon for the kids’ craft session.
They’ll have a new project each week. The crafts are for kids age 3 and up and cost $3 each. The fee covers a half-hour of crafting for your child and the cost of materials.
Parents or guardian must remain on the premises while kids craft. 🙂 But of course, that’s the whole point!!
Michaels has two locations in Wichita, but they may not both participate each month. (You’ll need to check the schedule online or in the store.)
