Marshall’s Opening in Wichita

Sharing is caring!

Wichita Marshalls StoreMore great news for bargain shoppers. According to the Wichita Business Journal, Marshall’s department store will open in Wichita on Thursday, September 20, 2012, in New Market Square shopping center in West Wichita.

The new store is where Borders used to be.

Marshall’s is a discount retailer, owned by the same company that owns T.J. Maxx, and very similar to that store. Other similar stores are Ross Dress for Less, Burlington Coat Factory, and Gordman’s. (There might be another one I’m not thinking of at the moment.)

I’ve been in a Marshall’s store in another city and liked the prices. What about you? Are you excited about Marshall’s opening in Wichita? Or do you think we already have enough bargain-hunting resources?
