This is kind of a fun thing – it’s a wall of community art inside a local restaurant that you can be a part of!
Have you been to Augustino Brewing Company yet? The relatively new craft beer place also serves coffee and food in a comfortable, rustic modern west Wichita location.

If you go this summer, try their brisket nachos (you’ll love yourself for it) and order a craft beer, latte, or loose-leaf tea. If this is your first visit, you can get your coffee or craft brew for only $1.
And while you’re there, look for these slips of paper that will be on every table and at the bar:
Draw on the slips of paper or write messages and your artwork can become part of their decor.
The brewing company will be using reclaimed wood pallet boards to decorate a wall this summer. They’ll scan customers’ designs and have them burned into the boards with a laser burning printer.
Kids or adults can participate. If you leave your email on the paper, they’ll notify you when your design is up.
There’s no cost to participate, other than the cost of whatever food or drink you order while you’re there. And then every time you visit, you can find your artwork! Beats hanging it on the refrigerator at home. 🙂
They’ll continue the Leave Your Mark Project until they run out of space, which they expect will be around the end of the summer.
