It’s time to celebrate! Come help Maize High School celebrate the installation of their new solar panels.
Get a close up look at the solar panels in action! In addition, Jace Wilbert and his band, The J Antone Quartet, will play. There will also be free face painting, a Sedgwick County fire truck, and an inflatable obstacle course!
Come hungry because Kona Ice and Freddy’s food trucks will be there! A portion of the Freddy’s and Kona Ice sales will go towards the solar project.
If you are interested in this event, make sure you mark on the Facebook event page that your are “interested” or “going” so that they can get a rough idea of how many people to expect.
The celebration will be held on the west side of Maize High School. (Look for the solar panels.)
The festivities will be held Thursday, June 27, starting at 6 p.m.
This is an outdoor event so check the Facebook event page for any changes or cancellations if the weather looks iffy.
