The Wichita Park & Recreation department will hold three fun events for all ages – kids through grownups! – at Wichita’s Reflection Square Park this month.
Light Up Reflection Square Park events are planned for March 29, 30, and 31, 2018. These events were announced in the Spring Park & Recreation Activities Guide.
Here’s what we know right now about the events that are planned. (P.S. They’re all FREE!)
- Light Up Reflection Square: Open House BBQ, Thursday, March 29 at Reflection Square Park from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy FREE hot dogs, yard games, local breweries, and live music.
- Light Up Reflection Square: Dockum Sit-in-Sip, Friday, March 30 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy bottled Coca Cola served over the counter with a straw or grab a mixed drink from the cash bar.
- Light Up Reflection Square: Black & White Affair, Saturday, March 31 from 6-8 p.m. Enjoy a free silent film and Phlox fire show. Cocktails will be available from the cash bar.
Reflection Square Park is the site with the Dockum Street Sit-In sculpture. It also has fountains, other bronze sculptures, and picnic tables. What a terrific location for some free, fun Wichita events.
