Sharing is caring!
Earlier this summer we set out to make a very simple-looking kite with instructions we found on the Internet — only to find that it wouldn’t fly. We still had fun spending time together as a family, watching our “simple” kite get more and more complicated as we added tails, supports, string, tape, and other fixes.
Before we hang up our kite-making hats, we might give it one more try at this event.
On Tuesday, August 14, learn how to make a kite – and fly it too – at the Sedgwick County Extension center in West Wichita. This is a free family activity from g2gOutside, and it sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
