Happy anniversary to KWCH Channel 12. According to its website, KWCH was the first television station in Kansas and began broadcasting 60 years ago on July 1, 1953.
To celebrate this milestone, local station is having a Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with 60% off admission at many Kansas museums. You’ll also get to meet your favorite on-air personalities and enter to win a gift basket at each participating location. (Who is your favorite Channel 12 personality? I can’t decide!)
