Do you love to sing or play an instrument? You should definitely check out “Jam with Friends” night at Ecclesia Coffee Shop in west Wichita.
On the third Thursday of every month throughout the school year, members of the Friends University Jazz Department will meet at Ecclesia from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for an evening of impromptu music-making.
Everyone, of all skill levels, is welcome to attend. You can also just go to listen and enjoy the music.
The event is free of charge but you’ll probably want to budget for a delicious coffee or other specialty drink at Ecclesia.
This would be a great time for teens and young adults to hang out together and jam (but it’s open to all ages).
