Sharing is caring!
AARP’s volunteer organization, Create the Good, is teaming up with The Kindness Rocks Project this Thursday, February 25, for the Ignite Kindness service project in honor of Black History month.
Anyone is welcome to join in the virtual meeting, which will be held via Zoom as well as Facebook Live. At the event, “participants will come together to hear personal stories of kindness, connect with like-minded volunteers, and paint rocks with inspirational messages that can be shared in their own communities!”
Kindness Rocks was founded in 2015 with the idea that painting an inspiring message on a rock and leaving it where someone will find it could change someone’s day, outlook, or life.
The first 175 people to register for the event will receive a rock painting kit while supplies last. (One kit per household.) To register, sign up here and a link will be emailed to you 24 hours before the meeting.
If you don’t sign up, you can still watch on Facebook Live at facebook.com/createthegood.
