The Burger Battle is back in Wichita on Saturday, September 21, 2019! Local restaurants compete to see who has the best burger in town, and the proceeds benefit a local charity.
This year is the 7th annual Wichita Burger Battle. The event has grown so much that it will be its own event at WAVE this year. Here’s more info from the event organizers:
ICT Burger Battle is Wichita’s hottest throwdown. The gloves come off (actually they stay on, because ew) when Wichita restaurants battle it out to determine who can make the BEST burger in all of Ta-Town. It’s a day of mouth-watering gloriousness! The best part? You, my friends, get to sample all the burgers and vote for the People’s Choice Winner. You’re welcome. Proceeds from ICT Burger Battle will benefit KETCH and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through specialized programs and services, KETCH is dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities by developing and/or enhancing skills needed to reach their highest potential.
The tickets are $30 GA, $50 VIP, GA 4-Pack is $100, kids 12 & under are free with a paid adult (one child per person please).
General admission tickets include fresh off the grill burger samples from 17 different restaurants, snacks, water and sodas, plus live music. Not a bad deal, especially since you can get at least one of your kids in FREE. (Which one do you like the best? š )
