Join the naturalists at the Great Plains Nature Center for a howling good evening of Halloween fun and FREE activities!
Howl-loween is Friday, October 23, 2020 from 6:45 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the Great Plains Nature Center which is located at 6232 E. 29th St. N., Wichita, KS 67220.
This year they’re taking the event OUTSIDE! It’s open to all ages, and this event is free to the public but donations are always accepted and appreciated.
They’ll have spook-tacular activities!
Here’s the Great Plains Nature Center’s description of this year’s Howl-loween event:
“Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks, hop on your flying broomstick (or a vehicle) and zip off to the nature center for an exclusive screening of GPNC’s very own spooky movie – The Kansas Insect Massacre. We’ll follow it up with a showing of the classic Halloween favorite: Frankenstein.
This movie is appropriate for all ages and highlights parasites of the natural world in a fun way.”
