This is actually really cool. I live close to a Walmart (who doesn’t?), but occasionally I want to use a discount I can only get online, or there are products that aren’t carried in my local store. Although Walmart already has free Site-to-Store shipping and an option to order online and pick up in the store free, they just added a new free shipping option called “HomeFree.”
This will be good on orders over $45 on eligible items (meaning not every item is necessarily eligible for the HomeFree shipping option). The closest thing to it that I can think of is the Amazon Super-Saver shipping. What it’s really going to be great for is holiday shopping.

It will be interesting to see what kind of items Walmart.com will include. I already know that many departments, like Apparel, Grocery, Household Essentials and Baby will have eligible items. This, for instance, is a really great deal if you don’t have to pay shipping:
