The Ark City Friends of the Renaissance Festival are raising funds with $5 Hot Air Balloon Tether rides on August 14, 2010, beginning at 7 p.m. The event is being held at the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum.
A free kids’ carnival with bounce houses, face-painting, and fun carnival games will begin at 5 p.m. The hot air balloon “glow” will begin after dark.
