Wichita on the Cheap

Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Happy 1st Anniversary, First Friday!

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I saw an announcement on Twitter about the very first First Friday Music Crawl in Wichita. The monthly event seemed to gather support rapidly–and what’s not to love? The first Friday of every month, live bands perform in various businesses throughout Old Town. Most of the clubs drop the usual cover charges during the event and welcome in passers-by  for free.

This Friday, April 2, First Friday celebrates its first anniversary. The celebration begins at 5 p.m. at the Farm and Art Market in Old Town. Sample a wide variety of music, food, and beverages throughout the evening. The line-up of musicians and venues is too long to list here, but if you want more details and to see the full schedule of events, join the First Friday Wichita Facebook group.
