Need a little help greening up your thumb? The Sedgwick County Extension and the Wichita Public Library have paired up to offer a series of FREE gardening workshops in March and April.
These free gardening classes will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. every Thursday in a virtual format online.
Topics include vegetable pests and problems, trees, shade gardens, drought-tolerant landscaping, and container gardening.

- March 25 – Top 20 Vegetable Pests & Problems
- April 1 – Tree-mendous Trees
- April 8 – Tips for Shade Garden Plants
- April 15 – Designing Drought Tolerant Landscapes
- April 22 – An Introduction to Container Gardening
The classes are a joint project of the K-State Research & Extension – Sedgwick County Master Gardener Volunteer program and the Wichita Public Library.
