Care-a-Ton is going to give away free trees again this April. The free tree giveaway in Old Town is in its fifth year. 1,000 four-foot Sunset Maple trees will be available for pickup at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 29th in Old Town Square. As you can imagine, 1000 free trees vanish in no time, and it’s first-come, first-served so get there early with your truck, van, bicycle trailer, or other means of tree-transportation.
