Tops in Blue is an elite performance group consisting of active-duty Air Force personnel whose primary mission is to travel the world entertaining military personnel and their families. Tech Sgt. Douglas Boren from McConnell Air Force Base is among this year’s performers.
Tops In Blue will present “Rhythm Nation” for free on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 in the Century II Convention Hall at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30, and since there are no tickets, it’s probably a good idea to arrive a little bit earlier than that so you can get a good *parking space and a good seat.
Here’s a description of the show from the website:
It features the swingin’ jazz of Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday, the great rock n’ roll sounds of Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis, the cool Motown R&B of Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, hits by J-Lo and Michael Franti, some inspirational country sounds and much, much more! Add the high energy precision choreography and dazzling visual impact TOPS IN BLUE is know for and every member of the audience will be singing along and dancing in their seats.
