This Sunday, October 17, 2021 the Wichita Art Museum will host a FREE outdoor jazz concert in the Paula and Barry Downing Amphitheater.
B-Side will perform live. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. but you can get there early to pick up dinner from the food truck.
Here’s the description from the WAM website:
“Not your Daddy-O’s jazz! This group of multi-talented musicians deliver a blend of new and old sure to keep you entertained with more than 130 years of combined performance experience.
B-Side is Christi Moore, former owner of Cabaret Oldtown (now Roxy’s Downtown), is a powerhouse performer in the Wichita nightclub scene. Known for his commitment to excellence, Steve Hatfield is one of the most sought after drummers in the Midwest. William Flynn, who also performs on September 19, brings innovative improv and impressive jazz technique. Zach Lorenson has played bass in various groups featuring jazz, rock, country, pop, and classical in Wichita for the past 15 years.”
The concert is FREE but you’ll want to bring money for The Rolling Greek food truck. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
