Back-to-school time is around the corner and that means one thing for lots of families: Getting ready for the new school year. It’s time to start shopping for school supplies.

And, of course, parents want to find the best deals on pencils, paper, notebooks and more. Well, thanks to Ibotta, families can get some of the items totally FREE.

Ibotta is providing millions of  children in America with FREE back-to-school supplies for the upcoming school year.

In partnership with many family-friendly brands, the app’s Back to School FREE for All program will give students a complimentary bundle of backpack and lunchbox staples to get the new school year started off right by helping families extend their back-to-school budget. 

The 100% cashback on back-to-school staple items includes the following items:

  • One FIVE STAR 3-subject notebook
  • One 12-Pack Ticonderoga pencils
  • One 110-count box of Kleenex
  • One Loaf of Nature’s Own bread
  • One jar of Skippy peanut butter
  • One Smucker’s fruit spread squeeze bottle
  • 3-pack of Paper Mate erasers
  • One Del Monte fruit cup pack

The value of the cash back reward will be determined based on the value of the products purchased. The maximum value of the cash back reward is $20.17. You may receive a cash back reward for each qualified product only once.

To redeem the FREE back-to-school bundle, shoppers simply need to download the Ibotta app or Ibotta browser extension and follow the instructions to add the items to their shopping list. Then, go to any participating in-store or online retailer to purchase the items and receive 100% cash back.

Here’s how it works:

Get the Ibotta app or browser extension. Click here to download. Sign in or sign up for your free Ibotta account.

Choose your retailer. Choose where you want to shop for school supplies: Walmart, Target online, H-E-B online or Shipt. The offer is not valid at any other retailer. 

Add offers. Add the offers to “Your List” and redeem them in-store or online at your chosen retailer.

Get cash back. Get 100% cash back on those select school supplies. 

Note: Customer do not need to purchase all of the items to qualify for the rebate. You can pick and choose which offers you want to redeem. 

The offer is available from July 14 to Aug. 31, while supplies last. As a result, the offer may end before Aug. 31, if all of the rebates have been claimed sooner.
