FREE Paint From the City of Wichita

Those who meet income-eligibility guidelines and who live within the targeted area in Wichita can receive up to $200 worth of paint from the city of Wichita.

The targeted area covers a substantial part of central Wichita:

The target area is bounded by I-235, Pawnee, 25th Street North and Hillside. It also includes all Local Investment Areas such as the Hilltop and Planeview neighborhoods. The income limit for a single person household is $36,400; the 4-person household limit is $52,000.

The 2012 Paint Program begins today (April 2) and will end September 14. Senior citizens and people with certain disabilities may qualify for a grant to have the paint applied.
