Metropolitan Ballet will once again host FREE outdoor ballet performances in Wichita-area parks this summer. This year’s annual Park Performances series brings Peter Pan to communities around the Wichita area on June 10–14, 2026, offering families a fun way to kick off summer with a little magic, adventure, and pixie dust.
These free performances are always such a fun summer tradition because they combine live theater, dance, music, and outdoor family fun all in one evening. Plus, you really cannot beat FREE entertainment during summer break.
This year’s performance features Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up, as he takes Wendy and the Darling children on an unforgettable adventure to Neverland filled with pirates, mermaids, Lost Boys, and even a crocodile.
Audiences can expect a 45-minute family-friendly performance with interactive moments throughout the show, making it especially fun for kids.
Bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, snacks, and settle in for a magical summer evening under the stars.
