The Friends University Concert Band will join the Senseney Music Community Band for an outdoor concert and old fashioned ice cream social to benefit Youth Horizons.
Bring your blanket or lawn chair along with a little money for ice cream Sunday, May 2nd at 3 p.m. The concert will be in the Rose Window Plaza, which is directly in front of the Davis Administration Building (the one with the clock tower), on the Friends University campus.
The concert is a fundraiser for Youth Horizons. A freewill offering will be taken during the concert, and proceeds from the sale of Schwann’s ice cream, which will be sold during the concert, will also benefit the non-profit organization.
This is an annual tradition at the university. I’ve heard from readers that it’s a great time!
