On Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 1 – 4 p.m., the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson will have a FREE open house. It is probably good to reserve your spot for the Vault Tour, which is one of the open house events. More info on how to do that is below.
During the open house, visitors will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Kansas Cosmosphere theater, hear special stories from the docents about the exhibits, explore the Camp KAOS astronaut training center, and experiment in Dr. Goddard’s lab. As space is available, visitors will also be given a tour of the Cosmosphere vault to see items that are not currently on display.
Call 800.397.0330 for advance reservations for the exclusive Cosmosphere vault tour; Sunday walk-ins welcomed on a space-available basis. All other shows are first-come, first-served.
