Wichita on the Cheap

Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Reminder: Free movie in Naftzger Park

Sharing is caring!

Enjoy a fun, FREE, and socially distanced activity in downtown Wichita at the newly-renovated Naftzger Park with Park and Recreation’s Movies in the Park events this fall.

So far, two Movies in Naftzger Park are planned (see dates below). They’ll have social-distancing squares set up for families, and they ask that masks are worn when moving through the park. (You don’t have to wear the mask in your family square.)

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs for seating and bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for a fun and safe movie experience. (Just don’t overdo it on the beverages! No restrooms are available onsite.)

Two Movies in the Park events are planned:

  • Saturday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m. Jurassic Park
  • Friday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. Hocus Pocus

For more information, visit the City of Wichita Park & Recreation Facebook event page here

Date(s): September 19 and October 23, 2020
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Naftzger Park in downtown Wichita, 601 E. Douglas
Cost: FREE

For another fun outdoor movie experience, check out the CapFed Amphitheater Free Movie in the Park events.
