AARP offers occasional free movie screenings in Wichita as part of its “Movies for Grownups” feature. This year, the free movie events are going virtual.
Movies for Grownups celebrates film and television that speak to the 50-plus audience. The free screenings are sometimes just for AARP members, and sometimes for the general public.
You do, however, need to register for the movie whether you’re an AARP member or not. Limited seats are available.
On Friday, February 26, 2021 at 7 p.m., they’ll be screening the 2018 documentary about Aretha Franklin, Amazing Grace. The trailer is embedded below. (It looks awesome.)
