Cheri’s Bakery has a FREE cookie decorating make & take project for kids ages 3 and up on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Just drop by between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to let the kids decorate a cookie and take it with them.
On Saturday, the design they’ll be making is a beautiful butterfly for spring! Cheri says it will just take a couple of minutes; you don’t need to plan to be there for the whole two hours. I’m sure the results will be delicious.
Cheri’s Bakery is at 2121 N. Tyler Road in west Wichita. If I were you, I’d bring my digital camera or use the one on your phone. It isn’t likely that this piece of art will last long enough to hang on the fridge. 🙂
What a fun idea. They usually do this on one Saturday per month, although the owner, Cheri, did tell me that May will be busy baking things for graduation parties.
