Gather your friends and bring your cozy blankets for an enjoyable night under the stars watching a free screening of Love Actually.
The new Wave outdoor venue is hosting a free community event. Prairiefire Coffee Roasters will be providing free hot chocolate, coffee and cappucinos all night. Wave will infuse it with your booze of choice if you’d like. They will also have s’more packs available to all attendees. $3 will get you the fixings for 2 s’mores. There will also be other food and alcoholic beverages for purchase.
Wave has set up a nice big firepit area along with several smaller fire pits and heaters to help keep warm. Holiday music will be playing and the indoor area will be open to those who want to step inside to warm up for a bit.
So bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and warm coats this Saturday, December 8, from 6 to 10 p.m. to Wave and enjoy spending time with the Wichita community as you view a free screening of Love Actually.
The movie will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.
Currently, the plans are to keep the event outdoors even if it starts to snow. Follow the event Facebook page in case they decide to move it indoors.
**This event is open to all ages but the movie is rated R for sexuality, nudity, and language, so keep that in mind when deciding who to bring along.
After the movie, there will be a 21+ Ugly Christmas Party inside Wave.
