FREE live, family-friendly concerts in the park

Wow! What a fun complement to the summer reading program in Wichita, KS this year.

The Wichita Public Library announced that they’ll present a series of FREE family-friendly outdoor concerts this summer at Naftzger and Riverside Parks in Wichita.

You’ll want to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs and whatever else you need for the kids.

Each free children’s concert performance is scheduled to be held at both parks! Performances in Naftzger Park (downtown) will be at 10:30 a.m. and in Riverside Park (south) at 3 p.m.

Riverside Park is at 551 W Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67203
Naftzger Park is at 102 S. St. Francis Ave., Wichita, KS 67202 (corner of Douglas Ave. and St. Francis St. downtown)

June 6: Waves of Laughter with Laughing Matters

June 13: Waves of Fun Comedy Ventriloquist Show

June 22: Mr. Stinky Feet’s Beach Party

June 27: Big Twisted Balloon Show

July 11: Bilingual Musician Nathalia Palis

In the event of inclement weather (always a possibility in Kansas), you can call the library or visit wichitalibrary.org/summerreading to see if there are any schedule changes.
