The Wichita Amateur Radio Club will be set up in the main lobby of Exploration Place on Saturday, June 15, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can learn about ham radios, go live on the air, and talk to experienced radio operators. It’s free and open to the public.
The Star Wars exhibit is still going on at Exploration Place also. There are no discounts that I’m aware for that. (There was a great discount during Riverfest.) However, you might want to take in a movie at the Boeing Dome Theater. Last time I checked, tickets were only $5 for adults and $3 for kids ages 3-11. (Seniors get tickets for $4 and children under 3 get in free.)
