You may or may not know that years ago the Wichita Public Library teamed up with Bike/Walk Wichita to make an app that lets you take self-guided historic walking tours of three different areas in Wichita. If you haven’t made time yet to try it, here’s an opportunity to use the app along with a human guide.
On May 15, a member of the library staff will take a group on a free guided tour of Wichita’s historic downtown. Advanced registration is required for this library activity, so don’t forget to sign up.
The tour is designed using the library’s app to access archived photos of the historic buildings and other areas downtown, so you will want your cell phone for this tour.
