FREE ‘Get Into Nature’ Family Activities

The Sedgwick County Zoo is hosting monthly Get Into Nature family activities this spring. The activities are FREE, but space is limited so pre-registration is required

To register, call 266-8213 and mention that you are signing up for the Get Into Nature program. Be sure to have the names and ages of all participants ready when you call. For more information contact Schaneé Anderson.

Here’s the schedule:

Mar 17 Tue: 10:00-11:30 a.m. and Mar 21 Sat: 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Beyond the Playground – Explore areas south of Sunrise Playground at Sedgwick County Park with nature play.
Meet in parking lot north of Sunrise playground.

Apr 2 Tue: 10:00-11:30 a.m. and Apr 18 Sat: 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Time for a Change – Investigate what winter has left behind and search for signs of spring.
Meet at Pawnee Prairie Park, East parking lot off of Tyler

May 16 Sat: 10:00-11:30 a.m. and May 19 Tue: 10:00-11:30 a.m.
There’s a Story to be Told – Learn to read the signs and tell the story of what is going in in nature.
Meet at Kansas Wildlife Exhibit in Riverside Park
