Elizabeth Boyle, Professor and Meat Science Specialist in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry, KSU, and Mark Murrell, with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks will present a free* lecture on harvesting deer, covering numerous topics including information on safe processing practices at home and new updates to hunting laws regarding Chronic Wasting Disease.
From Field to Table: Venison 101 will be presented at the Sedgwick County Extension on Thursday, September 19 at 6 p.m. *The lecture is free but registration is required. To register, call (316) 660-0127 Monday through Wednesday.
