Need something fun (and free) to do with the kids?
Bonding Through Board Games is a FREE family board game event held at the Sedgwick County Extension Center.
Even if you regularly play board games with the family, these free events will give you an opportunity to try new games, meet new people, and do something fun outside of the house.
Face-to-face time is a precious commodity. One of the most important benefits of this event is the interaction and bonding that playing games brings to families. Strengthen your family, friends, relationships in a fun and meaningful way. Learn new board games that will make you laugh, think and inspire you to have a family game night of your own.
Games are set up on tables throughout the room and helpers nearby can teach you how play, if necessary.
Family Board Game Night Schedule
To find the latest Board Game Night schedule, the place to go is to the Facebook page for the event, then click on “More” and click on “Events.” If you don’t find any upcoming board game events at the Facebook page, you can try looking at the Relationship Develop page at the K-State Research and Extension website.
Most Board Game Nights are held in the Sunflower Room at the Sedgwick Co. Extension, 7001 W 21 St. N Wichita KS. Occasionally they will go to other locations too.
Volunteer Opportunity
The Sedgwick County Extension is also recruiting volunteers to help participants learn the games. If you’d like to volunteer, or if you need more information, please contact Liz Brunscheen-Cartagena at (316) 660-0114.
