The United States Air Force Academy Band from Colorado Springs is coming to Wichita to perform at Century II on Sunday, April 8, 2018. This will be a family-friendly concert and tickets are FREE.
The program will highlight the musical diversity and excellence of our men and women in uniform. The Academy Concert Band is comprised of 45 professional active-duty airman musicians and led by Lieutenant Colonel Daniel L. Price.
This free concert will include a variety of musical styles, from patriotic favorites and traditional marches to spectacular concert works and Broadway classics.
For over 60 years, the Academy Band has used the power of music to honor our nation’s heroes, inspire Air Force personnel and the nation they serve, produce innovative musical programs and products, and communicate Air Force excellence to millions around the world.
Tickets are required for this free concert and will be available beginning March 16, 2018, at WichitaTIX.com The concert begins at 3 p.m. on April 8.
