This year’s Big Read program centers around the Jazz Age and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Great Gatsby. One of many free events taking place in conjunction with Wichita’s Big Read is a FREE movie matinee on Saturday, October 27, at the Orpheum theater.
The movie is a 1974 film adaption of The Great Gatsby starring Robert Redford. (Rated PG) Showtime is 1:30 p.m. The film will be followed by commentary.
