Thinking of learning to play guitar? The Guitar Center in Wichita has a weekly free guitar lesson for beginners that will help you get started.
The free group lesson covers introductory topics like proper playing position, tuning, basic strumming, chords and how to care for your instrument. It’s an hour long and starts at 10:15 a.m. on most Saturdays. (Check below for a link to their events calendar.) The same lesson is repeated each Saturday, so you can attend again if you need to refresh your memory.
Guitar Center has a number of other free lessons too, including “Recording Made Easy.”
