This event is free with the donation of one school-supply item*. You’re invited this Saturday, August 27, 2011 to a Back-to-School Bash at the Wichita Ice Center.
The bash begins at 12:15 p.m. and goes until 3:15 p.m. There will be a free 30-minute group lesson at 12:15, free skate rental and prizes. This is a great way to get back at the triple-digit temperatures we’ve been having this year, because inside the skating rink it is COLD. Remember to wear nice thick socks, long pants, a jacket, and gloves. (Seriously! Maybe even a hat. :))
When you arrive, you’ll need to sign in and drop off your school supply item at the table in the main lobby.
The concession stand will be open.
*The school supplies collected will be donated to local Wichita schools.
