This weekend, Dr. Jon Kardatzke will be remembered at the museum he founded with free admission, an open house event, and a special exhibit.
Dr. Kardatzke co-founded the Museum of World Treasures with his wife, Lorna in 2001. Before that, he also co-founded West Wichita Family Physicians and practiced medicine for 35 years.

This weekend, Saturday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, March 6, from noon to 5 p.m. Museum of World Treasures will be offering free admission for those wishing to visit and pay their respects.
A temporary “Memory Wall” exhibit with printed photos and memories of Dr. Kardatzke will be displayed. Visitors are invited to bring their favorite Dr. Jon photos and memories.
An open house will be held at the Museum Sunday, March 6 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for those who would like to pay their respects to Dr. Kardatzke’s family. His memorial service of celebration will be Saturday, April 9 at 2pm at Central Community Church at 6100 W Maple Street, Wichita, Kansas 67209. The family has set up memorials with Heart to Honduras and Museum of World Treasures.
