This is a big west weekend in Wichita with bull riders and barrel racers. The National Barrel Horse Association is holding the Heartland Nationals Barrel Racing competition at the Kansas Coliseum on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. The fun begins at 9 a.m. on both days. With a little careful scheduling, you could get seats for the PBR Invitational and watch the barrel riders compete to qualify for the NBHA World Championships.
